This Rosemary Orange Glaze is one of the easiest and most delicious ways to spruce up a holiday ham. The recipe is for a single batch, but I recommend that you double (or triple!) so that you have lots of glaze for dippin' and leftovers!
- Prep Time:
- Cook Time:
- Servings: 4-6
Ingredients
- (1) Ham
- (3-4 cups) Apple or Pear Juice
- (1/2 cup) Maple Syrup
- (1/4 cup) Brown Sugar
- (2 Tbs.) Salted Butter
- (1/3 cup) Fresh Orange Juice
- (2 sprigs) Fresh Rosemary
Directions
- Prepare your ham.
- While ham is baking, combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and allow to simmer until reaching your desire thickness. Remove the sprigs of rosemary before using the glaze on your ham.
- When your ham has 30 minutes left to cook, pour 1/2 of the glaze over the ham and return to oven.
- After 30 minutes, remove lid and pour out the liquid that has accumulated at the bottom. (Don't you dare throw it away!)
- Pour the remaining glaze over the ham and return to the oven uncovered to broil for 2-3 minutes or until the glaze is browned and bubbling.
- Slice and drizzle with more glaze before enjoying your delicious meal!
