Most folks cook bacon on the stovetop, but I love the flavor and ease of cooking it in the oven.  Bacon in the oven is a delicious way to create exciting new flavors and mix up breakfast offerings. Plus, the recipe is easy to scale up to feed an entire pack of hungry folks. Cleanup is a snap, too!

Ingredients:

1 lb Ramstead Ranch bacon or side pork

1/2 tsp salt for side pork

Whiskey infused bacon:

¼ c whiskey or similar

Asian bacon:

1 cup soy sauce

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼  tsp onion powder

A pinch of cayenne powder

Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400F.
  2. Lay bacon on a baking sheet in a single layer and sprinkle spices on.
  3. Add liquid to baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes until the liquid is gone and the bacon looks yummy.
