Elevated Sausage Puffs

Think of these as the grown up cousin to pigs in a blanket. Good cheese, fresh herbs, and a hint of dijon all add a touch of sophistication to pair with the comforting, savory notes of Ramstead Ranch sausage and buttery puff pastry. These are the perfect finger food for parties and pot lucks!

Ingredients
- (1 pack) Country Sausage Links
- (1 pack) Puff Pastry, thawed
- (1/2 cup) Grated cheese (white cheddar, gruyere, ect.)
- (to taste) Dijon mustard
- (to taste) Fresh herbs, chopped
Directions
- On a lightly floured surface, gently roll out your puff pastry.
- Spread on a thin layer of dijon mustard and sprinkle with fresh herbs of choice.
- Cut pastry into 1 inch strips and spiral wrap each sausage link.
- Bake according to puff pastry instructions on a baking sheet lined in parchment.
- About halfway through the bake time, sprinkle each sausage puff with cheese and return to the oven until cheese is melted and pastry is brown and crisp.
- Serve with a drizzle of hot honey or some maple syrup for dipping!
